WHEREAS,
on May 16, 2001, the Board issued Order No. A.I. 16 (2001-2002) approving a
private-passenger automobile insurance rating program for Axa Canada on behalf
of Insurance Corporation of Newfoundland, and
 
WHEREAS,
on October 2, 2001, the Board was made aware that Insurance Corporation of
Newfoundland was not using rates approved in Order No. A.I. 16 (2001-2002), and
 
 
WHEREAS,
upon review by Board staff, it was determined that incorrect rates were
incorporated in Order No. 16 (2001-2002), and
 
WHEREAS,
the Board, after due examination and analysis, finds that Order No. A.I. 16
(2001-2002) should be amended.  
 
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED THAT:

Order No. A.I. 16 (2001-2002) be
amended by deleting therefrom in its entirety, Section 3. at page 4 and substituting
the following:
