TO IMPLEMENT
REVISED RATES FOR ITS
PRIVATE
PASSENGER, COMMERCIAL VEHICLE,
AND INTERURBAN
TRUCK
CLASSES OF
BUSINESS.
WHEREAS, by
application received March 1, 2001, IAO Actuarial Consulting Services on behalf
of Travelers Casualty & Surety Company of Canada applied to the Board for
approval to adopt the Insurers' Advisory Organization's rating program for
Private Passenger, Commercial Vehicles, and Interurban Trucks, and
WHEREAS, the
Board, after due examination and analysis of the Insurers' Advisory
Organization's 2001-2002 Private Passenger, Commercial, and Interurban Truck
rating programs, accepted them for use, effective July 1, 2001.
IT IS
THEREFORE ORDERED THAT:
1. Order
No. A.I. 13 (1998-99) be and it is
hereby rescinded.
2. Approval
be and it is hereby granted Travelers Casualty & Surety Company of Canada
to adopt the Insurers' Advisory Organization's 2001-2002 rating programs for
Private Passenger, Commercial Vehicles and Interurban Trucks.
3. The
rates approved herein may not be altered or varied by the application of any
surcharge or discount which has not been filed with and approved by the Board.
4. These
rates shall be effective from July 1, 2001 for new business and renewals.
